Seven years ago, Justin Vandevort received an offer he couldn’t refuse. He got a call inquiring about his interest in being the General Manager of a new Indian Motorcycle Dealership starting up in Northwest Arkansas. He knew with the beautiful countryside, fantastic weather and thriving communities in the area that an Indian Motorcycle Dealership would absolutely be a success. He jumped at the opportunity to be a part of bringing Indian Motorcycles to this part of the world.
Polaris, the parent company of Indian Motorcycles, is “a solid company with exponential growth” says Justin. In April 2011, Polaris bought Indian Motorcycles and performed a total re-launch, in which they re-designed the bike and the brand. “When you buy and Indian Motorcycle, you are not only getting a beautiful, well-engineered bike, you are getting a piece of history…a thriving brand that attracts new and seasoned riders.” Buyers are loyal to the brand and committed to the sport and lifestyle. Indian Motorcycles attract a wide array of riders with their line of bikes – from full-size touring models like the Roadmaster to attracting the new rider with models such as the Scout.
“We certainly outshine the competition in features and quality. We are innovative and offer style in both the classic Indian look as well as new and exciting product that is unmatched,” says Justin.
Heritage Indian Motorcycle not only is an avenue to bring bikes to riders, it is a place to buy top-of-the line apparel and riding gear as well as well as quality parts and to find professional service for your bike by their skilled and experienced technicians.
The year 2020 proved tough for some businesses in the midst of a pandemic. For the motorcycle industry, the pandemic only strengthened its customer base. “It kickstarted the powersports industry,” Justin says. For Heritage Indian, it was “the best year ever,” he notes. All across the business, actually, sales were up. With people searching for ways to “live their best life” and finding ways to avoid isolation, riding motorcycles was a perfect activity, allowing for safe socializing, travel and the outdoors.
Heritage Indian has won Best of Northwest Arkansas awards three consecutive years. Justin says customer service is absolutely the top priority and the responsibility of every member of their team. “First and foremost - every day - we treat people right.”
