Nook and Cranny is a professional, quality driven, full-service cleaning company. They also offer completely non-toxic cleaning supplies. But what really sets them apart from other home cleaning businesses is the pride and the passion they bring to every task.
“We pride ourselves on quality cleans with attention to detail,” said Jessica O’Neill, owner of Nook and Cranny Homekeeping NWA. “Your home is the most private and precious space in your life and you should not let ‘just anybody’ into your intimate space. We go beyond other cleaning companies to thoroughly clean your home with a comprehensive checklist for every room in your house. Nook and Cranny believes a clean home is a happy home.”
When Jessica graduated from college, she did not think she would wind up doing this for a living. “I actually have a degree in teaching,” she said. “My husband is a local teacher and football coach (Go Mounties) and we always thought we would end up in the same school teaching side by side with me teaching Family and Consumer Science, which is my passion. But when we started our family and had duties at home, God chartered a different path.”
And that path began with a simple vision. “We are truly a company that was born from the vision of how to best serve busy, overwhelmed families, like ours,” Jessica continued. “My sister, who is also a busy mom of four kiddos, owns the Tulsa location which is the original N&C. When we started, residential was our main clientele, but that has slowly integrated into other realms of the cleaning industry and we have continued with ongoing training and are always looking for better ways to meet the needs of our community and expand.”
Nook and Cranny NWA has a staff that consists of three full-time employees, and two part-time. Jessica believes that she has been blessed with employees who, like herself, dedicated many years to education and staying home with their children. And because of this, they are able to better relate to a busy family’s needs and are eager to help the customer spend their valuable time with family and friends. “Our employees are truly the best of the best,” she proudly pointed out. “Everything we do as a business hinges on our skill, integrity and professionalism, all of which they possess to an unmatched degree.”
Nook and Cranny NWA services all of Northwest Arkansas and, on occasion, they have cleaned for clients in Missouri and traveled up to two hours. “Everyone is our customer,” Jessica said. “Every person can benefit from the gift of extra time. Whether it be in a place of business or at home. We believe clutter creates chaos, mentally and emotionally, providing a peaceful home and work environment is critical to maintaining a healthy ambience.”
One of the things Jessica loves about the work she does is the people she gets to interact with. “I thrive on the new relationships made through our services,” she said. “Not just with clients, but other business professionals as well. Northwest Arkansas is a special community and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know it more through the opportunities Nook and Cranny has provided.
“I grew up in Broken Arrow, OK and attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma,” Jessica continued. “There I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. My husband, myself and my daughter Masden, moved here from Norman, OK. Since moving to NWA, we have added four rambunctious and adventurous boys to our family. We love NWA and believe it is one of the best places to live!”
